Week 4 Plan

You will find AP5 becoming more challenging. Good strategies such as time management and notetaking will become even more important. If you waste your mornings Tuesday-Thursday and after afternoons on Mondays and Fridays, you are going to have difficulties. Don't save your studying for the weekend. Keep up. Study hard and strategically.

Here is the plan for next week:

EE Chapters 4, 5, (for Tues) 7 (for Wed) , 10 (for Thur)
ML Ch. 3
RW Rules 1-4; 57-60

Monday

Reading quiz (study the vocabulary first)
Group Business Report is due at 8:30 A.M. (precisely)
Blog task (embedded TED talk with summary) is due
In computer lab, you will be introduced to D2L and have three small tasks to do

Tuesday

Quiz on SS Source #4 or #5
Class time for argumentative essay writing
Begin ML Ch.3
You will be introduced to the principles of writing an argumentative essay and be given your group writing task

Wednesday

EE Ch. 7 review and discuss
ML Ch.3 (continue)
Grammar and writing activity

Thursday

Listening Quiz (similar to first one)

Friday

Group argumentative essay -- peer editing (Essay is due on Monday)
